Full-time and Part-time Veterinarians needed for Growing Small Animal Practice

This Practice has two locations: one in Hot Springs, Arkansas and one in Lake Hamilton, Arkansas (both in Garland County). Hot Springs is home to slightly over 37,000 people and Lake Hamilton is a resort community, enjoyed by several thousand inhabitants. Even though Lake Hamilton is a resort community, the county has a Cost of Living Index at 86 compared to the national average of 100. 

The town of Hot Springs rests amid the gently rolling Ouachita Mountains and the city’s central location offers easy air access to the entire nation.  There are more National Forests and State Parks than you can count for hiking and there are plenty of rivers and lakes for water lovers!  In addition to the outdoor activities of Garland County, charming gift shops, antique stores, fine art galleries, factory outlet stores and a local mall are guaranteed to satisfy all your treasure hunts.

The Hot Springs climate is mild with moderate temperatures ranging from an average low of 50 Fahrenheit to an average high of 75 Fahrenheit. Warm, summer temperatures stick around, often extending past the official beginning of the fall season. Winters are short and mild. Spring and fall seasons are beautiful in Arkansas with pleasant temperatures and gorgeous colors -- wildflowers along the roadsides during spring and magnificent foliage during autumn.

The Hospital itself is a four-doctor practice needing to expand to meet the needs of its growing client base.   The practice sees approximately 10% exotic, 60% canines and 30% felines. The two Practices offer (but are not limited to):  internal medicine, surgery, orthopedic surgery, bone plating, neurosurgery, dentistry, boarding, grooming, emergency medicine and house calls to clients. The Practices also offer an upbeat, fast-paced atmosphere to work in. They are looking for full and part-time team members to join the 30 member staff, which is committed to client education, patient care, and being the best veterinarian they can be.

Compensation Package includes: Salary based on experience (ranging from 40K -70K +/year) including CE, Healthcare (Reimbursement for up to 50% of your current plan), IRA, Bonuses, Liability Insurance, Vacation, and Uniforms.
