Small Animal Medicine, Small Town Living!

Your Slice Of Paradise:
El Dorado, Arkansas was recently voted as having the ‘most beautiful and economically vibrant downtown in the state.’   Roughly 22,000 people reside in El Dorado and enjoy the quality of life the city has to offer. The city’s location in south central Arkansas is at the very heart of the vivacious Sunbelt. This puts you in an enviable business position -- El Dorado is the retail trade center for a large part of south Arkansas and north Louisiana. El Dorado is within 500 miles of 20 percent of the total U.S. population, giving you quick access to major cities such as Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans, St. Louis, Memphis, Houston, and Oklahoma City.

The city is nestled in some of the most naturally beautiful land to be found in the state of Arkansas and truly is a paradise for the outdoor enthusiast! Some of the finest hunting and camping areas in the nation are found just beyond the doorstep. The Felsenthal Wildlife Refuge contains 65,000 acres where you can fish year-round or go bird watching. The Ouachita River offers unmatched scenery, and the perfect setting for a float trip or a fishing trip.

If your interests can be more readily satisfied in a shop compared to the field, El Dorado can satisfy your hunger there as well! A diverse mix of downtown businesses offer quality antiques and collectibles, upscale clothing, health foods, gourmet coffees, jewelry and a host of other goods and services. Entertainment options available include live music, movies in the grand Rialto Theater or a game of pool in a 1920s-vintage hall.

Practicing in Paradise:
This Veterinary Clinic is a one-doctor, small animal practice where quality medicine meets southern hospitality and small-town living!  From the moment you walk into the Practice, you will be impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the promptness to which you are greeted.

As the newest Veterinarian on staff, you will have mentorship opportunities alongside the owner.  The owner is not looking for a new Veterinarian to dump the practice on, and though ownership may be a possibility eventually, initially, you will be treated to a growing market and will be rewarded by developing relationships with clients.

Compensation Package:
Salary is dependent upon experience, but you can expect a range from $40,000 - $60,000. For more detailed information on salary and the benefits package, please contact us as at jobs@myveterinarycareer.com or call Stith Keiser at 720-323-9651 to learn more!
