MyVeterinaryCareer did not simply evolve from a whim.  We consulted with Veterinarians, Practice Managers and Veterinary Schools to ensure that we understand YOUR needs. Based on our initial discussions with students at a variety of Veterinary schools, we have compiled a document that specifically addresses concerns and desires brought to our attention by Professionals! In the spirit of continuing to meet your evolving needs, please feel free to provide insight and/or feedback into what you would like to see at.

We want to begin getting to know you while you’re still in school.  This gives us an opportunity to get to know you as a person, allowing us to find a Clinic that not only matches your skills and education, but also your personality, desired work environment, and your long-term career goals.

In Summary:

  • We work directly with Practices to find your ideal match in terms of job requirements, salary, location and career progression.
  • We can place you in a rural large animal practice or a fast-tempo big city specialty practice, and anything in between.
  • We’re also happy to offer career advice, resume and interviewing tips (We’ll even sit down with you and go through a practice interview session) and provide advice for paying off those student loans!
